560g Plain Flour 1½ Tbsp Baking Powder 1 Tsp Salt 375ml Beer (1 Can) |
METHOD
1 Preheat oven to 232℃ degrees.
2 Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
3 Pour in the beer and mix well.
4 The dough will be sticky.
6 Spread a handful of flour on your work surface and dump the dough onto it.
7 Toss the dough around to coat it with flour and prevent it from sticking.
8 Knead it 2 or 3 times to make it pliable.
9 Shape the dough into a ball and divide it in two if you are making 2 thin crust pizzas.
10 For a deep pizza pie do not divide.
11 Grease your pizza pan with oil and use a rolling pin to roll the dough out into a circle.
12 Brush crust with olive oil lightly and then add your sauce and toppings.
