| Mashed Potato | OR | Sliced Potato |
INGREDIENTS
1 Kg Thick Sausages
1 Kg Potato
60 G Butter
1 Onion
1 Tbs Curry Powder
2 1/2 Cups Liquid Stock
1 Tbs Cornflour
1 Tbs Water
Grated Cheese (To Sprinkle over the top)
METHOD
1 Boil potatoes in a saucepan until tender. Mash potatoes to desired taste.
OR Slice the Potatoes and then Boil them.
2 Preheat oven to 200C.
3 Prick sausages and place in saucepan with enough cold water to cover.
4 Bring to boil and simmer gently for 10 minutes.
5 Drain, cool and remove skins from the sausages.
6 Melt butter in a saucepan and fry onions and curry powder.
7 Stir until the onions are soft.
8 Add stock and bring to the boil while stirring.
9 Add sausages and simmer for 10 minutes.
10 Blend cornflour with the water and add to sausages, stirring until the mixture boils and thickens.
11 Place mixture into a medium-sized casserole dish, top with mashed or potato and grated cheese.
