Mini Pasty

INGREDIENTS

500 Gr Beef Mince or (Meat of your choice)
2 Cups Frozen Mixed Veggie
1 Brown Onion (cut into small dice)
1 Cup Frozen Spinach (Thawed)
2 Medium Potatoes (cut into small dice about 5mm)
4 – 6 Sheets of Pastry
Any Herbs you wish
1 Tsp Salt
½ Tsp Black Pepper
1 Egg (Egg Wash)

METHOD

1 Brown meat in fry pan and strain moister from Mince (about 5 minutes).
2 Add Veggies, Salt & Pepper and cook for a further 5 Minutes.
3Take off stove and let cool before using.
4 Let cool totally before adding Cheese if adding Cheese.
5 Cut Pastry into 100mm circles.
6 Place a piece of pastry on the Dumpling maker. (You may have to flour the side that goes onto the press to stop it from sticking).
7 Add about 1 – 1½ Tbsp mixture on top of pastry and press sides together to seal.
8 Place on a cooking tray and Egg Wash the Pasties.
9 Cook in oven at 200℃ – 220℃ for 25 – 30 minutes or until golden.

NOTES

You can also add 100gr Cheese after removing the mixture from the stove and letting it cool.
