
INGREDIENTS
1 Kg Bag of Green or Yellow Split Peas
1 Lg Smoked Ham Hock
METHOD
1 Wash Split Peas thoroughly.
2 Place Split Peas and Ham Hock into a large pot and cover with Water.
3 Cook on a low heat or Simmer until Split Peas have desolved. (For this amount nearly 8 Hours cooking Time).
4 Add more water if the soup gets to thick for your liking.
NOTES
This amount is enough for 4 or 5 people for 2 meals.
