9″ Chicken Pasty


Makes 29 Pasties

INGREDIENTS

2 Kg Chicken Mince
2 Kg Frozen Mixed Vegetables
1 Kg Potato (5mm Dice)
100 Gr Massel Powdered Chicken Stock
500 gr Cheddar Cheese

METHOD

1 Brown meat in fry pan. (about 5 minutes).
2 Add Veggies, Salt & Pepper and cook for a further 5 Minutes.
   (Add Bread Crumbs to take up the moister.) if needed.
3Take off stove and let cool before using.
4 Let cool totally before adding Cheese if adding Cheese.
5 Cut Pastry into 230mmor 9″ circles.
6 Add 1 Cup mixture on top of pastry, then fold pastry over mixture to meet the other edge evenly and press together.
7 Use a fork to seal the edges of the pastry.
8 Place on a cooking tray and Egg Wash the Pasties.
9 Cook in oven at 200℃ – 220℃ for 25 – 30 minutes or until golden.
