Custard (Fosters)

Makes 8 Servings

INGREDIENTS

 2 Tbsp Fosters Custard Powder
500ml Full Cream Milk
1 Tbsp Sugar

METHOD

1 Place 2 Tbsp Custard Powder and Sugar in a saucepan.
2 Add 2 Tbsp Milk to the saucepan and blend to make a smooth paste.
3 Gradually add remaining milk.
4 Slowly bring to the boil stirring constantly.
5 Reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes.

MICROWAVE METHOD

1 Place 2 Tbsp Custard Powder and Sugar in a bowl.
2 Add 2 Tbsp Milk to the saucepan and blend to make a smooth paste.
3 Gradually add remaining milk.
4 Microwave on HIGH for 3 – 4 minutes. Whisk well.
5 Microwave on HIGH for a further 3 – 4 minutes or in increments of 2 minutes until thickened. Whisk well.

NOTE

1 250ml Milk to 1 Tbsp Custard Powder.
2 Add an extra 1 Tbsp of Custard for thicker and creamier mix.
