Rainbow Cake (One Pan Recipe)

(One Pan Recipe)

Ingredients

110 Gr Softened Butter
40 Gr Coconut Oil (or any Oil)
160 Gr Sugar
2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract. (if you are using vanilla essence, made from
                                            artificial flavoring add only 1 teaspoon)
3 Eggs
270 Gr All Purpose Flour
3 Tsp Baking Powder
120 Gr Unsweetened Full Fat Yogurt
60 Ml Milk
1/2 Tsp Salt
Food Coloring

Method

Combine Butter, Oil, Sugar and Vanilla and beat together.
Then add egg one at a time.
Add Yogurt and Milk and give a quick stir with rubber spatula.
Then add dry ingredients. (SIFTED) Flour, Baking Powder and Salt.
Combine folding in using a rubber spatula.

Preheat oven to 180C

Serperate mixture into even amounts (4 – 6) depending on how many
colours you want and add the food colouring to each.

Add each coloured batter to the cake tin one at a time and bang
the cake tin on the bench after adding each coloured layer.

Bake in one pan for one cake or two pans for 2 cakes (200mm pans).
Cook for about 25 – 30 Minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
