(Salt is an important ingredient here, so do not skip it.)<br \/>\n4 To dress the pasta with the cream sauce, add the pasta directly to the pan with the sauce and gently shake the pan to coat the pasta with the sauce.<br \/>\n5 Add up to \u2153 cup of the reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE:<br \/>\nThis is a basic sauce that can be used for Pasta or Gnocchi.\u00a0 You can add what ever you like to this to change it up.
