{"id":472,"date":"2023-04-08T23:40:04","date_gmt":"2023-04-08T23:40:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grub.fairgomate.net\/?page_id=472"},"modified":"2023-04-08T23:40:04","modified_gmt":"2023-04-08T23:40:04","slug":"gnocchi-creamy-chicken-1-pot","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/grub.fairgomate.net\/index.php\/gnocchi-creamy-chicken-1-pot\/","title":{"rendered":"Gnocchi Creamy Chicken (1 Pot)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-473 size-thumbnail\" src=\"https:\/\/grub.fairgomate.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Creamy-Chicken-Gnocchi-150x141.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"141\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>INGREDIENTS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>2 Tbsp Olive Oil<br \/>\n2 Cups Mushrooms, Sliced<br \/>\n1 Medium Onion, Diced<br \/>\n4 Cloves Garlic, Minced<br \/>\n4 Tbsp Butter<br \/>\n1\/3 Cup All Purpose Flour<br \/>\n1 \u00bd Cups Chicken Stock<br \/>\n2 Cups Milk<br \/>\n1 Tsp Oregano<br \/>\n1 Tsp Dried Dill<br \/>\n1 Tsp Dried Thyme<br \/>\n\u00bc Tsp Cayenne Pepper<br \/>\nSalt and Pepper<br \/>\n2 Cups Cooked Chicken, Shredded or Diced<br \/>\n1 16 Oz (500 gr) Package Potato Gnocchi<br \/>\n2 Cups Spinach or Silverbeet<br \/>\n\u00be Cup Parmesan Cheese, Shredded<\/p>\n<p><strong>METHOD<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preheat oven to 220\u2103.<\/p>\n<p>In a cast iron skillet, or deep oven proof fry pan, warm olive oil over medium high heat. Add onion and cook until almost translucent. Add mushrooms and cook until they have a slight golden color. Add garlic and cook an additional minute. Remove from pan and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>In the same pan, melt butter. Once fully melted, whisk in flour until smooth. Cook for two minutes stirring constantly.<\/p>\n<p>Whisk in milk and chicken stock until no clumps remain. Bring to a slow simmer whisking constantly. The mixture will thicken as it heats up. Season sauce with oregano, dill, thyme, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Once thick, add cooked chicken, uncooked gnocchi, mushroom mixture, and spinach. Fold and stir until combined and spinach starts to wilt. Turn off heat.<\/p>\n<p>Top with shredded parmesan.
